COURTESY POST

Hi , my name is Ellie and my mom is fostering me Heritage Animal Hospital. I am a Jack Russell mix. I came to the hospital is pretty bad shape. I am about 6-7 years. I have a severe hernia that was repaired, I am spayed, had masses removed and were being benign, up to date on vaccines, had a dental cleaning and am all ready to go. I am a very good girl. I like to be wherever you are, and I'm past the puppy chewing phase. I get along with dogs and cats. I love to snuggle and sleep with you in bed. A fenced in yard would be preferred for my own safety. An adoption application would need to be filled out if you are interested in me. My adoption fee is $150, and I am fully vetted. If interested please email mpalmer2817@charter.net and ask to schedule a meet and greet.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are in foster homes so once you decide on which dog you would like to meet and/or adopt, complete and submit an adoption application, which can be found at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/ (please copy and paste into your browser).

The application will be reviewed; if the applicant meets our adoption criteria, the application will be passed on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog. A home visit is required for all of our adoptions. If you are out of our area, we will make arrangements with a rescue group in your area.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$150 for dog/puppies under 1 year
$125 for dogs over 1 year
$75 for senior dogs (depends on breed)
For Puppies 4 months old and younger: Adopter agrees to pay a $50 training retainer in addition to the adoption fee. The $50 training retainer will be refunded to adopter after completing a dog training class and showing proof of certificate
