Facts about Nana

  • Breed: Border Collie
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Nana is a beautiful 11 year old girl. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and is house trained.
Nana was found wandering the streets of Knoxville. When she came to us, she had a broken front leg which had never been treated, was heartworm positive, bullets in her chest, severe arthritis in spine and hips and was experiencing seizures on a daily basis. NOW she is heartworm free, her arthritis is better thanks to cold laser therapy, her seizures are under control with phenobarbital, and most importantly she is HAPPY!
Nana is a pure joy. She has a wonderful personality, loves to play but also loves to be touched. Oh, and she has a obsession with toys! If there is a toy around, it belongs to her and only her! She will guard and protect her toys from all other animals.
Nana needs a a quiet home where she can spend the rest of her life. A fenced in yard is a must (she is a car chaser). A home with small children would be a concern due to her age and arthritis issues. Her adopter must keep her on her medication and continue her cold laser therapy when needed. Nana is a special girl who deserves the best home possible after everything she has been through.
Nana's asking adoption fee is $200. For more information, please email Sonia at sekutz@yahoo.com
