My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Dodge (HWTH#16137A). He is a Pit mix, DOB: 12/25/15. Dodge weighs approximately 30 pounds and stands 18 inches at the shoulders with more growing to do (he will be a large dog when mature). He and Chevy were rescued from the local animal shelter in Lancaster, California by a volunteer with Halfway to Home. (They were surrendered by their owner because the person had too many animals.) Dodge is a little shy at first meeting strangers but shows no signs of aggression. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, structure and some exercise will go a long way in helping him feel secure in his new environment. Dodge is microchipped, good with kids, beginning house trained and crate trained. He is also good with other dogs. Dodge should have lots of chew toys at his disposal so he has an outlet for puppy chewing. When Dodge is thoroughly settled into his new Forever home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with the bonding process. Once Dodge has bonded with his new owner, he will be an amazing canine companion. For more information on Dodge, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
