My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Chevy (HWTH#16136A). He is a Pit mix, DOB: 12/25/15. Chevy weighs approximately 30 pounds and stands 18 inches at the shoulders with more growing to do (he will be a large dog when mature). He and Dodge were rescued from the local animal shelter in Lancaster, California by a volunteer with Halfway to Home. (They were surrendered by their owner because the person had too many animals.) Chevy is a little reserved when meeting new people but shows no signs of aggression. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, structure and some exercise will go a long way in helping him feel secure in his new environment. Chevy is microchipped, good with small children, beginning house trained and crate trained. Chevy has some obedience training and is good with other dogs. When Chevy is thoroughly settled into his new Forever home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training mostly to help with the bonding process. Once Chevy has bonded with his new owner, he will be an wonderful canine companion. For more information on Chevy, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
