Lucy's Story...
Lucy is approx 6-7 years old & a very cuddly, sweet & quite silly girl. She has a very cute personality! She loves her "baby" Foxy.... she does well with small dogs but seems a bit overwhelmed with dogs her own size/larger dogs. She is potty trained & loves people. She likes to go on walks but also is happy to play with her baby at home, and just hang out with her people. She is also crate trained. If you are interested in adopting Lucy, please contact us for an application at LoneStarDobermanRescue@gmail.com
We adopt to all areas of Texas, and if you are outside of TX, you must be within 5 hours of D/FW. You can see all our available dogs on our website at LoneStarDobermans.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Fort Worth Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
