Kimba's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kimba's Story...
Kimba is a 6-8 month old yellow lab mix. She is very friendly and social with adults, kids, other dogs and (dog tolerant) cats. She doesn't have a lot of manners so her foster mom is working on that and she continues to do well. She is very much a playful lab puppy and will need toys and walks and playing as she grows up.

Kimba is currently fostered near Huntsville/Athens, Alabama. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, Rabies, microchipped, and Heartworm negative. If you'd like more information about the adoption process please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at forrescue.net/dog-application/ Once we receive your application we will forward it to her foster parent and she can tell you all about this friendly girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kimba, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
