Daisy is a beautiful Shih Tzu mix who’s favorite past time is a nice ride in your car- she’ll hop right on in and relax in the passenger’s seat with you! But before she decides to enjoy a cruise through the neighborhood with you, Daisy has to warm up to you a little first since she was not treated as well as she should have been by her previous owners. Before she began enjoying car rides with her foster parents, Daisy was left all alone in her previous home with no supervision for over a week! When her owners finally returned, her left eye was proptosed and needed to be removed so her owners decided to surrender her. Luckily, Daisy was rescued by a veterinarian that works with SNIPSA and she was able to have her surgery and be in the care of a terrific foster parent! She has recovered extremely well and her lack of an eye does not slow her down! Along with car rides, Daisy loves to go for walks and if you’re looking for a great lap dog, she is the one for you! She is looking for a loving, patient, mature home without small children or bigger dogs as she can get a little skittish around them.
