Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey Mcguire! I am so happy you could meet with me today! I must say, you're more handsome than I imagined!
M: Oh, geez, thanks!
So where are you from?
M: I'm from the lone star State but if you ask me, it should be called the lone dog state. Too many purdy pups alone on the streets and shelters. I was one of them! I was much skinnier then and was feeling under the weather so no one saw my charm. I probably wouldn't have made it out unless Sunshine people saw me. They had a volunteer/angel come to the shelter to whisk me away! Sunshine ladies said they knew I would love stompin' around the mountains. Heh, they were right!
What is your ideal day like?
M: Well, I wake up, give my foster mom a huge kiss and convince her to snooze the alarm for another snuggle. Next, I would eat a big breakfast, I'm kindof a foodie. Then I would play with my foster siblings (furry) and go for a long walk/run. I'm really athletic so a day full of playing in the yard, hiking, walking/running, going to the dog park, etc would perfect for me! I would also want lots of treats and praise for being such a good boy.
What are 1 year goals?
M: First things first, I want a family of my own! Foster lady is great but I want a yard and someone committed to loving me FOREVER! I also want to go to school. I am really smart and think I would do well in basic obedience classes. Another goal/dream of mine is to go camping. I haven't done it yet and I think I would be the best camping partner around.
What would you tell anyone thinking about adopting their next companion?
M: I would tell them to consider me. I have been overlooked for sometime and I don't get it. I am beautiful, just look at my brindle coat. I am sweet, loving, goofy, playful and active. Basically, I'm what any active Coloradan is looking for. Give me a chance!
Well, thanks again Mcguire for your time today! We hope that this helps you find your family.
