Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
Sugar is a delight! She has a Minnie Mouse sort of way about her. She's small enough to scoop up easily (which she loves) but big enough to be a sturdy girl and enjoy a walk. She loves small stuff toys (see her video) and is amazingly good around other dogs. She's fine with cats too - she's a little puzzled by them and has been known to be trapped in a corner by a bossy cat! Her primary characteristic is devotion. Once you have won her love she will always be by your side. She's house trained and has received full vet services (heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated) so she's ready to meet her new forever companion. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL and you can meet her by emailing info@FORrescue.net. You can get started by completing our dog application at www.FORrescue.net. Thank you! We welcome your questions about Sugar.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Knoxville Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
