Jeff's Story...
These handsome fellows are Mutt and Jeff – 2 year old Lab mixes. Mutt and Jeff were puppies when we rescued them from a local hoarder. They have been with us for a little over 1 ½ years now and really need someone to play with! They are our Ambassadors for the SCHS but would really love for them to have a home. They are SUPER sweet and loving, and will pose for the camera every time! These guys must be adopted together as they have been together all their lives. Please contact us at the number provided if you are interested in giving Mutt & Jeff a new “Furever” home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeff, a Leslie Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Leslie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Leslie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Leslie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Leslie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Leslie paves the way for another one to be saved.
