Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Yora, and I am a big, handsome, tuxedo Maine Coon/ domestic long hair mix with a big fluff of a tail and a full ruff around my face. Born about April 2013, I am a hunk-of-a-guy who is mostly black with a white goatee, bib, tummy, gloves, and high boots. I love to be petted and brushed; I'll even let you give me a rousing belly rub or two! I have experienced a devastating turn of events in my life when my human died, but fortunately I have found a wonderful foster mom with whom I can crawl up in bed at night to snuggle and to give me reassurance.
I used to live in a big, quiet house with my human and my 7 feline fur-siblings, but one day, we couldn't find her, and our lives turned upside-down. Suddenly all sorts of strange people invaded our usually calm home, and this terrified us all. Now unfortunately we all find ourselves cast to the four winds and in the precarious predicament of needing to find new homes.
Fortunately a nice lady with Buster's Friends brought me to her home to foster me. I get along great with the other animals in my foster home, although it took me awhile to adjust and relax in my new quarters with a whole new family. Typical to Maine Coons, I am a gentle giant with a sweet, loving disposition. I am hoping to find someone who can love me and reassure me that everything will be okay. My perfect home needs to be a quiet one like my old one.
Yora is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
