Maverick's Story...
Maverick was saved from a high kill shelter after there was a big plea because they were full. When we saw his picture we knew we had to save him. He came in as an owner surrender and they are first to get put down. We have no idea why they surrendered him, they never said. We can tell you this, everyone that meets him loves him. He is so friendly and sweet, just wants to be loved and love on you. He is so easy going and loves to go on car rides. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He is only 5 years old which is a perfect age as they are out of the chewing stage and way more chilled. He is 73lbs and a Lab/Redbone coonhound mix. This guy is perfect for a family or single person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maverick, a Great Falls Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound for sale in Great Falls, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Great Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
