Donny's Story...
Donny is an older guy looking for love. He is a bird dog mix around 8 years old and 65 pounds of love! When Donny came to us he had to have surgery on his eye. It wanted to turn inward. Now Donny is doing great!! He gets really cold so needs a inside home. He is house broke and walks on leash. Donny is good with other dogs and kids. He loves to be petted and lay in the sunshine. If you can give him a home please do!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donny, a Centerville English Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Pointer for sale in Centerville, or seeking a English Pointer dog from a breeder in Centerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Centerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Centerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Pointer breeders who help with English Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Centerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
