Meet Princess Gracie (aka Dracie). Gracie is a 4 year old Hound mix who was really shy and shut down at our rescue. She often didn't even want to go for walks and would pull back to her kennel with her tail tucked. Gracie now has a foster home where she is learning that life isn't so scary and that people can provide you with love. Gracie's foster mama has been working with her to help build her confidence and she has been doing great. Gracie loves going to hike sand makes a great road-trip companion. Gracie is overall very sweet and would make a great addition to any family!
Says her foster mom: Gracie is becoming more playful and silly by the day. She was very nervous walking outside on the street two weeks ago but has shown amazing progress and is gaining confidence on the leash. Gracie is tender in how she approaches everyone and a big goofball once you get to know her. When she wants attention she comes and gives me a hug, putting her paw on my shoulder and there's no resisting a Gracie hug.
