I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ian's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Ian's Story...
Purebred 4 year old male Great Dane, neutered, housetrained, current shots.

Ian may be ok with another dog as long as they are female. We find him to be very sweet once he warms up but he can be intense at first. He was crate trained before coming to the Alliance. He is a lap warmer and an accomplished couch potato! He enjoys going for walks & rides! Ian has no cat experience. Ian is protective of his person and home, so an adult household would be best. He does seem protective of females in the household.

If you would like to meet this sweet boy, please contact the Alliance. A home check and meet & greet with all family members is required. There is an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $300. (623) 869-0409 Dane Line.

Please help with his care while he is in rescue by visiting greatdanerescueofazalliance.com and clicking DONATE NOW. Thank you for caring!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ian, a Phoenix Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
