Looking for a calm, mellow, and sweet dog? It will be Boo! Boo is a great temperament boy, very gentle and well-behaved. He is doing very well in his foster home since the first day he arrives. Boo is good with people and is very polite when meeting strangers. He is also good with young children and is very gentle with the foster family’s son who is 8 years old. Boo loves all dogs and is great with both big and small dogs. He rides well in the car and enjoys his daily walks and going to the park. Boo will make a great family dog as he is one good dog!

Poor Boo was living as a homeless dog in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. A kind lady has been bringing food every couple days for Boo for the past few years. He is always waiting for her in the same spot. The kind lady couldn’t take her home as she lives in a tiny apartment and not financially sound. She called several rescue groups and no one was willing to take him in as they are all full. One day when she was feeding the strays in the area she realized Boo was missing. After a few days, she found Boo lying in pain and almost dead as his hind foot was caught by a gin trap. She immediately rushed Boo to the vet. It was too late and so he lost a few of his hind toes. However, it does not affect how he walks and run. The kind lady posted his story on Facebook hoping to find him a loving home so he doesn’t have to go back to the streets. Boo stayed at the vet for a few months and no one came for him. The lady could not afford to keep him at the vet and decided to release him to continue his homeless life. Everyone at the vet really loves him and begged the vet to help. The vet called Boo now foster mom. She is an experienced dog rescuer and found over thousands of dogs loving home. She knew it was urgent to take him home and promised him a good life! At the foster home, there is a little girl, Barbi, who grew to be very attached to Boo and loves him very much. Little Barbi is a much happier and confident girl with Boo around to help make her feel secured. They are so cute together – as Boo is a bigger dog and Barbi is a small dog. They play, sleep and enjoy going out together. We are looking for a loving home that can give both of them a home together.

Boo is a healthy boy. He had his vaccinations, rabies shot, neutered, and microchip. He also tested negative for heartworms. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to him and give him a new life! Please give Boo & Barbi a chance to be together forever as they love each other very very much.
