Riley's Story...
04-26-16 COURTESY LISTING

Riley is an American Pit bull who is estimated to be 18-24 months old. His wonderful foster has had him for 3 months now. He was found dragging a chain in the winter weather with all of his ribs showing. Despite his beginning in life he's the sweetest boy ever. He's neutered, up to date on vaccines and is now at a good weight. He is heartworm positive but is almost through his treatment for that.

Riley plays well with his foster's older dog and has been fine around the cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Charlotte Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
