SHELBY's Story...
This little 8 month old cattle dog mix is one active girl. Shelby was picked up way out in the country on a lonely road near Abilene. We reached out to the shelters in the surrounding cities but no one came looking for her or reported her lost. She is very active and is looking for a home with bigger dogs that can handle her energy. Her current foster home has two small dogs, a guinea pig and a cat. Other than being too active for all the others she's a sweet girl. Are you that active person ready for a super active pup to add to the family? Applications can be submitted at this link http://www.dfwfgf.org/adoption-application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHELBY, a Dallas Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
