My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Hillary. I'm a two year old short haired tortie, currently spending time with one of the shelter's wonderful foster families. I am shy at first, and will really need a patient home with a cat savvy owner as i continue to learn to trust humans. Once i get to know you, I will long for face and chin rubs from you. I'll even lie on the floor and knead the air if you get the right spot! My foster mom calls me a shark sometimes because I like to circle around her for petting. I have a foster cat brother that I get along with, so I could go home to another friendly laid back cat, or I would be okay as an only pet too. Dogs and young children frighten me, so i will do best in a home that does not have either. I am not sure about being picked up, but with time and patience, I will learn to trust you. No worries about getting me into a carrier if i need to travel -- i will walk right in for you! I'm learning to play with toys, and one of my favorite past times is looking out the window from my foster family's cat tower. Do you have a quiet home where I would feel safe? If you'd like to meet Hillary, please call the shelter at 603-628-3544 and they will happy to arrange a meetup between you and Hillary.
