Dasha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Dasha's Story...
Dasha is a 7 year old basset gril who will keep you laughing at her charming personality!

Dasha was an owner surrender to All Ears after her family didn't want her any more - after getting to know her, we can't understand how anyone could give her up!

Dasha is a plump girl and needs to loose some weight, so her new family will need to make sure she gets exercise and stays on a diet. Like many bassets she loves treats and people food. And overindulging!

Dasha was very shy when she arrived. She spent her first few days hiding behind a bush and had to be coaxed inside. Once she realized she was safe her vibrant personality took over and she spends her days cajoling belly rubs (her favorite thing in the whole world!) and following her human around. Second best thing in the world to belly rubs is riding in the car.

Dasha is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. All she needs is her furever family and her life will be complete!

If Dasha is the basset you've been waiting for, please fill out an application on our website - and a volunteer will get in touch with you. Dasha's adoption donation is $175.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dasha, a Albuquerque Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
