Hopkins's Story...
M16-061 Hopkins
I'm HOPKINS. Maybe you met my siblings, Nutmeg and Carlos. We were born late last summer into a family that loved its kitties, but got too old to care for us, so we fell on hard times. Some new caregivers showed up, but they had a lot of dogs. We got moved from the house into a shed in the yard. It wasn't very fun, and sometimes we didn't get enough to eat. Then the Magicat Ladies came and gave us a great second chance. I love being an INSIDE ONLY guy, and I'm quite handsome. I have a lovely tabby lemon and white short coat and pretty yellow-green eyes. I've kinda forgotten how to snuggle, but I like people and if you give me a chance you will find me very good company. I like the toys and the other cats at my foster home and the foster mom who has cared for us. I'd like a quiet, patient home with people who have their lives under control and have time for pets. I'm okay with other cats and respectful dogs; but I don't think I'd like babies or very young children. I'm healthy, current on shots, neutered and negative for FIV/FELV. I'll be at Twin Falls PetSmart real soon, so stop in and say hello. For more information send an email: or leave a message at 208-543-6193. You can send in an adoption application on the website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hopkins, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
