Jake's Story...
Meet Jake, a handsome older gentleman in search of new home. He is 10 years young and loves to snuggle. He enjoys long walks, chasing his ball or just lounging around in the yard. He is very well mannered, knows hand signal commands, walks well on leash and rides well in the car.
Jake was greatly loved in his last home, but was surrendered because a young child in the home was allergic. He is good not crated when no one is home. He does not do well with cats. Jake would do best in a calm environment.

Jake is neutered and up to date on Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella vaccines. He is microchipped and heartworm negative. You can apply to adopt Jake at www.zoeshouserescue.com. His adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Sinking Spring Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Sinking Spring, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Sinking Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sinking Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sinking Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sinking Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
