Facts about Berlia

  • Breed: Maine Coon
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Medium
Berlia is a 3 year old Maine Coon. She came to us off the street with no collar or microchip and sadly after almost a month no one came forward to claim her. She has been fully vetted and is now in search of her forever home.

This is what her foster has to say about her:
"Berlia can be social at times or just do her own thing. If she isn't following me around then she will just be laying around sun bathing. She is a very vocal can't and will never let me hear the end of it if the food bowls are empty. In the beginning she showed aggression towards my cats, but she has now adjusted to them. I am still not sure how she will react to new cats. I know she isn't too fond of dogs or my young niece. She tested negative for FeLV and should remain an indoor cat."

All of our pets are vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriate to age and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adopters receive a copy of the adoption contract, adoption receipt, available vet records, micro-chip registration card, and personalized engraved identification tag at the time of the adoption or a week after the adoption has been completed by mail.

Please Note: You must live in California and be 18+ years of age to adopt.

About Joy of Life Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Joy of Life Rescue is a Southern California rescue. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a physical address or facility. We rely solely on the help of our dedicated volunteer foster parents who offer their time and resources to house, train, transport and care for our pets until they are adopted. Our mission is to help establish and acknowledge the safety and welfare of all pets in need.

All of our pets are vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriate to age, micro-chipped, groomed, trained and/or rehabilitated and treated for any and all other medical conditions; with the possible exception of pregnant or nursing mothers and young litters, but will be as directed by a California state licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Joy of Life Rescue runs solely on the generous donations from our public supporters. Every donation can make a difference in the life of a pet in need. Any contribution is gladly welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you are interested in a meet and greet with one of our pets, please email or call us to schedule an appointment.

Please Note: All of our pets are placed in foster homes, location(s) may vary.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please complete the Adoption Application for the interested pet. By completing the application, it does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the pet. The application is designed to help us determine if you, your home, your family (including current pets) and lifestyle are compatible with the interested pet.

If your application looks like a match, we will contact you via phone or email to schedule a meet and greet. We also require a home check to ensure the home and environment is safe for our furry friend. If everything goes well we can finalize the adoption. You must sign an adoption contract and pay the pet's adoption fee. - Adoption fees help us cover the cost of vet bills. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriate to age and micro-chipped prior to adoption.

Adopters receive a copy of the adoption contract, adoption receipt, available vet records, micro-chip registration card, and personalized engraved identification tag at the time of the adoption or a week after the adoption has been completed by mail.

Please Note: You must live in California and be 18+ years of age to adopt.
