Mickey (X- URGENT)'s Story...
Hello my name is Mickey... I am only 2 years old and get along great with other cats. I'm very affectionate and absolutely love attention. I'm not crazy about being held for a long time, but I'll sit next to you and rub on you. I've been at the shelter for a long time. The shelter like was real hard on me at first. It took me time to get used to it, so I wouldn't show people how I really am and how sweet I really am. I'm not sure of dogs, but I can get used to living with one if you have one. The dogs here bark all the time, so I've learned to ignore them now. Please give me a chance. I would love a home to call my own and humans to call my family. If you are interested in my please come to the shelter to meet me. You can also go to www.westwarwickvsa.org if you would like to download an application for me.

Act quickly to adopt Mickey (X- URGENT). Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey (X- URGENT), a West Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
