Graham's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Graham's Story...
Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Graham wants to be the next member of your family! He is a terrific dog that just wants somebody to love. He is approximately one year old, well behaved, passive, has great leash manners, and is house broken but unfortunately he is heartworm positive. He will receive treatment as soon as we are able to raise the money, but he has not received it yet. Graham is good natured and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is an active, young guy and loves to go for walks. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Graham, a Kittery Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
