My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our sweet Frankie was found as a stray in a bad part of town in the south. He was running down a busy highway and would have ended up Hit by a car if an animal
Lover didn't open her car n call him to jump in! Lucky for him he did. Frankie is almost 1-year-old and is a very sweet lovable playful boy. He is good with dogs good with cats good with adults and would probably be best with bigger children or wound do well with basic training. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He is stunning with his brindle coat and loving eyes.

Frankie would do well with an owner who understands strong dogs and can be in charge n he would love a dog friend and a fenced in yard to run in. He deserves all of that n will give 100% back to his new family.Frankie's ideal home:

Allowed to be free in the home (he's housebroken and never destructive)

Must be a part of the family because he needs a lot of affection and attention

Older children fine (probably age 10+)

Needs daily exercise - very important for his behavior

Needs consistent boundaries (don't allow him to jump up, don't allow him to be "mouthy")

He gets along GREAT with other dogs, but can be a bit pushy when playing so needs to be a submissive dog.

He does super great on walks (great on leash)

Pros: He is going to make such a great companion for some lucky family! He is so loving, attentive, willing to please. He is never destructive, loves his chew toys, loves other dogs. He listens really well. He is not dog-aggressive whatsoever. He also is NOT toy possessive.

Cons: Pushy in his attempt to get your attention/affection. Is newly learning not to jump up on people so needs consistent follow through to cement this new skill. Comes on strong during play time with other dogs so needs one who can tolerate that.

His adoption fee is $ 250 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip.
Please send us a message and inquire about an application if you would like to meet Frankie. We are only able to meet with pre approved applicants since our organization is operating on foster homes only.
