My name is Shadow. My brother and I were being given away for free because our owner was moving, but Planned Pethood stepped in to take us. We were very scared and unsure when we got to our foster home, not wanting contact with each other or people. My "mom" separated us and I began to calm down. I am really a nice girl, but can be a little moody at times. With my big beautiful eyes & the cute white spot on my chest, I am a gorgeous girl. I can be a "talker", meowing for attention and then I will rub all over you. I do not like other cats, hissing & growling when I see them, so it is best that I am an "only cat", at least for now. I am looking for a home that will provide me with the security and love that I deserve. I am 2 years & 8 months old. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Shadow, please contact her foster, Sue at 419-250-0846. - See more at:

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
