Willow's Story...
Hello my name is Willow. I am a 1-2 year old Bull Terrier. I have been in training with Puppies for Parole for the last several weeks learning basic obedience and manners. I do good walking on a leash. I also know how to sit, stay, lay down, bow, place and recall where I come when you call me. I also house trained and kennel trained. I get along with other dogs and like to play outside. I can be a little stubborn when listening to commands but that is because I am always looking for someone to play with. I love attention from people and I like to cuddle with them when I am not outside playing. Willow would not be a good dog for a family with small children. I will be waiting for that perfect family to adopt me and make me a forever member of their family.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at or contact her at 816-752-2295. We will try to respond back as quickly as we can but all of our staff or volunteers also work. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Cameron Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cameron, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cameron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cameron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cameron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cameron paves the way for another one to be saved.
