My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zooming Zoey is an eleven month old female who was rescued just a couple weeks ago. She has been settling in to her foster home, and it sounds like it's been a fun ride. Zoey is always zooming about, and is completely obsessed with balls. She could play fetch all day, every day. She has created fun new games for her foster mom such as Shower Ball and Tag. Zoey seems thoroughly amused that she's trained her foster human to throw the ball for her, even during bath/shower time. Zoey likes to poke her head around, drop the ball in the shower and wait for you to throw it. Tag is a fun game of water play, indoors, outdoors, shower-time, wherever is fine with Zoey. She has a fun, loving personality, and is described as a very sweet, smart, and outgoing lovely girl. She knows what a leash is and will sit immediately and patiently wait for you to attach it so she can go play outside. She also understands the "Sit" and "Shake" commands, and is working on "Sit Pretty" and "Down". Zoey loves to greet anyone and everyone, which includes jumping up. She's currently working on this, and will sit patiently for pets if you turn your back slightly when she tries to jump up. While jumpy with adults, she has met children around the age of 2, and done beautifully. She was gentle and patient with them. She is an her adult weight at 40 lbs. Zoey has great recall outdoors, and will make someone a very happy family! While we encourage crate training in all foster homes, Zoey is with a foster in an apartment complex, and since she hates her crate and barks, she's graduated to be left alone indoors during the day. She has a fun friend to play with, and as long as she has activities (balls, chews, tugs, etc), she's been good about leaving things alone.
