Brice's Story...
This is Brice! He is a 10 year old yellow lab rescued from Granite City AC. He is microchipped however the chip was never registered! His chip dead ends at the W Prusaczyk Small Animal Clinic in Harrisburg, IL which is now closed. When Brice's "time was up" at the animal control, Cindy took him into her rescue. Brice has been treated for heartworms and is being treated for hypothyroidism. The thyroid medicine is inexpensive. Brice is a great dog but would prefer to be the only dog, and no cats.

The adoption fee for this critter is $200 which includes neuter/spay, up to date vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, treatment, and prevention, flea prevention, and a good scrub before heading home! If you are interested in meeting this critter or any of the other critters please complete an adoption application here: Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brice, a Maryville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Maryville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Maryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
