Ellie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ellie's Story...
Ellie is a sweet Chihuahua-Italian Greyhound mix. She is 2 years old and weighs just 8 pounds. She is spayed, all of her shots are up to date, and she is house trained.

Because of her size, kids 8 years and up who will be patient with her are recommended. Ellie does like her playtime with toys and fetching ball.

She walks well, but is shy of loud noises on the street. Ellie loves her snuggle and lap time.

Ellie is currently living with other dogs and wants to interact with them, but she is not cat tested. A yard for her would be perfect, but it must have a secure fence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Vista Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Vista, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
