Meet River! She’s a charming 60 lb. Lab/Sharpei mix who has found a second chance at TRI. Now she’s looking for a forever home. This stunning girl is around 2 years old, but is surprisingly laid-back for a young dog. Always eager to please, River loves people and craves their attention. She is a bit picky about her canine companions, however, and would need to meet any potential siblings to see if they could be best friends. River is a smart girl who is already learning is basic commands and brushing up on her house manners. What more could you ask for in a furry companion?

River came to the Inn with an eye condition called entropion (both eyelids were inverted where the eyelashes are scratching and irritating the eyes). She has since had surgery and is well on the road to recovery. She should lead a normal life with no lasting effects of the condition. Now she just needs her own family, a few toys and a soft dog bed to call her own. Might you be willing to make her dreams come true?
