My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foxy is a 15 month old border collie/sight hound mix female who was dumped by her owners in boarding. They picked up and moved and did not return for this poor girl. Foxy clearly had no training or socialization and was definitely left for hours alone in her previous home. Now she has come out of her shell and is undergoing sheep herding training and will start agility training soon as well to help her chances of being adopted. Foxy is very intelligent like most border collies, has high energy and absolutely loves to play fetch all day long. She does okay with some dogs but unfortunately her previous owner did not socialize her or work with her at all so she tends to be dominant with most dogs. Foxy can be nippy at times but once she bonds to you she is a loving, affectionate and loyal companion. She would best with a family that will give her attention, training, play time and exercise and that knows this breed needs to work and keep busy. No cats or small children for Foxy.
