I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rudy's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, not good with kids, and not good with small animals.

Rudy's Story...
NEUTERED MALE. Approximately a year old. Has not gotten along with other males in the past. We are looking to get him adopted to someone who has female rats so he is not alone. He needs to be in a stable, relatively quiet house (no barking dogs in the same room) as he has shown minor aggression in the past when in a stressful environment. He has done very well since moving to a new foster home and has not shown any aggression.

Adoption fee is $50.00 to cover the cost of his neuter.

EDIT (12/1): Rudy is scheduled to be neutered 12/7. He will be available for adoption to be kept with females as of 1/7 once he is recovered from surgery and guaranteed sterile. Adoption fee is $50 to help cover costs of surgery. He is approximately a year old at this time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Rochester Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
