My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello my name is Lucky; I am a White Cockatiel approx 5-10 years old. I’m becoming more comfortable in my foster home. I talk a lot and whistle to the other cockatiels in the next room, and will even tell you about myself. I’ll say “Pretty bird,” “What cha doing Pretty Bird”, cough, laugh, and copy telephone rings. When I came into rescue had some injuries and evidence of some plucking. Luckily my crest feathers on my head have grown back so I can stand up tall and proud!
I do need to work on stepping up from inside my room. I’m not so sure about hands or perches. Sometimes I’ll do it on a towel. I can also give a nip as so many things are new in my life. I’ve got to learn again to trust. And someday that will happen as I will find my forever home with someone that will love me and be patient with me. Could that be you? I am you’re Lucky Star?
