Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel is a 5 1/2 year old black male with cropped and standing ears. He came into rescue because the owner's baby was allergic to him. Diesel also lived with a rescue Border Collie that was his buddy who was re-homed one day before he came into rescue. When Diesel came into rescue he was over weight and the vet felt he needed to lose some of the pounds, but he's at a great weight now. Diesel walks on a regular buckle collar but if he wants to go in a different direction he'll pull you. We have noticed that since he's been in rescue that he is a bit nervous, and it seems like he's been looking for his buddy, so he needs to be placed with another dog. Diesel doesn't seem to be a dog that needs a high energy dog or a young dog that wants to play but he needs a companion. Other than the baby he's really hasn't lived with children so he should be placed with children 10 years and older. Unknown about cats. He loves to ride in the car and is a good eater but not food motivated. Diesel was use to having someone home so the best home would be with someone that is only gone a few hours a day. He can be a little needy but then that might be due to the fact that his whole life changed, first his canine companion was re-homed and then he was rehomed. He's a good boy and likes to lean.
