Facts about Gunny

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
  • Color: Brindle - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Gunny wouldn't mind lying around eating bon bons all day while you pay the mortgage, but he's suited for an active home or as a walking buddy. He was so starved when we found him, that he's been trying to make up for those missed meals every since. Remarkably, after starvation and neglect, Gunny remains the sweetest dog with a calm and submissive temperament. He just wants to be someone's special boy. He's fairly low energy, but he's a young dog (2-3 yrs) and would adapt to most any home. We were told he's a registered American bulldog. He is a great looking dog with a muted beautiful brindle coat.

Neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and taking preventatives. We do require a fenced yard to keep him safe when he is outside.

Application, adoption fee, and brief home visit by appointment. Out of area adoptions possible with an approved application. Email were4dogs@gmail.com or text/call 256x665x6104 Send a text or leave a message.

About Last Chance Dog Rescue Alabama

About Our Rescue Group...

In the deep South, animals are being turned in to shelters in record numbers, and most of them don't even make it to the adoption floor. They have to be euthanized due to lack of space. We pull as many as our resources will allow. We believe animals are precious and deserve the chance to live wonderful lives. PLEASE DONATE TO OUR RESCUE AND HELP US SAVE MORE LIVES!!

Our Adoption Process...

Fees range from $80-200, to cover a small portion of the vetting fee. Potential adopters must complete a pre-adoption application, allow us to do a home visit and call their veterinarian for a reference, and if the animal is a good match for the new home, sign an adoption contract.
