Italy's Story...
Italy was described as a mellow, easy going guy. He is 3 years old and was a gift for his family when he was a kitten. They had him for 3 years and became increasingly allergic and so this nice kitty is looking for a new home. Italy is very friendly and just a really nice cat. He is used to being a pet in a loving home and hopes it won't be long until he is in a good home again. Do you have room in your heart and home for Italy?

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed and spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. Cats 3 months and older are micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Italy, a Elyria Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
