Hi there, I'm Lucky!
I'm about 4.5 years old and I have been waiting almost my whole life for my forever home.
I'm a very spirited girl and I have been told that I sometimes can act like a cranky old lady when my stuff is touched without my authorization. I do very much love being petted on my head and cheeks! If you show me love with pets first, then we can talk about becoming friends.
I am a little shy and nervous when meeting new people, so please have patience with me. I just need a little time to get to know you and you me. I'm also a bit sassy and can grunt up a storm but it's mostly just to intimidate you. Somebun's gotta keep you on your toes.
I love to run, hop and explore everywhere! My perfect home set up would be an indoor xpen (the bigger the better) or even a room of my very own!
Since I am a bit sassy, I'm not suitable for homes with small children. I would do best in a home with adults or one with older children, 12 yrs or older. I've met dogs and cats before too, I'm still not sure what to think of cats but I think I can get used to them. I don't mind dogs at all- I think they know I'm the boss.
** Lucky is currently in Foster Care, if you wish to meet Lucky, please fill out an Adoption Profile online at: http://www.sandiegorabbits.org/adoption/adopter-profile and we can schedule an appointment for you to meet Lucky.
If you are new to house rabbits we may require that you attend our Bunny 101 class prior to adopting.
Lucky, Dutch Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.
Your message has been sent to San Diego House Rabbit Society.
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
