Bonnie Blue's Story...
Bonnie Blue and her siblings were dumped off at a home in rural west TN....imagine - only being about 8 weeks old and trying to survive on your own. These poor pups were so hungry and thirsty and covered in fleas and ticks....but still so incredibly SWEET!! They are typical puppies who love to play (play hard, sleep hard) they are social and happy and love attention. They do fine with other dogs and cats and did I mention sweet??? If you'd like to add one of these adorable, deserving pups to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. All of the pups are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie Blue, a Staunton Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
