OLIVIA and siblings are a special little group. They are sweeter and calmer than the typical pup. Like all happy puppies they enjoy playing and do plenty of it. This group also loves to sit and watch all the people and animals in their foster homes. It is precious to see. It looks like they are trying to soak up every moment and learn all there is to know about the big world. These puppies all live in foster homes with other dogs so they are lucky enough to be taught manners by adults canines! They are doing well on their potty training and have definitely mastered the art of cuddle time. They like to be carried and to snuggle up next to their foster families on the couch for a nap. As of 5/2/16 they are 9.5 weeks old and are now ready to bring a lifetime of puppy love to their forever families!

OLIVIA will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow before traveling to her forever home.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLIVIA, a Harrisburg Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
