Daphne's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Daphne's Story...
Daphne is a 3-year old spayed Basenji/Lab mix. She weighs 55 lbs and walks well on a leash with a dainty, graceful trot. She is a real sweetheart and is great with kids of all ages. She has lived with a dog savvy cat, so would likely do well with a cat that knows how to deal with dog. She has lots of energy and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home, but she also enjoys her quiet time. She also loves playing with her foster's children and her dog toys. She knows basic commands and is both housetrained and crate trained. Don’t forget those doggie kisses she loves to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Vista Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Labrador Retriever for sale in Vista, or seeking a Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basenji/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
