Gabby's Story...
Hi hi! My name is Gabby! I'm a happy 2 year old and 9lb, long legged, chihuahua mix! I am looking for my new furever family - are you them??

I'm an odd little dog. I have a playful side, especially if there are other dogs and toys around. But I'm also very happy to just chill and relax alongside of you if you're being mellow too. My long legs must be loaded with what you humans call SPRINGS because I can jump a short fence or baby gate without even batting my pretty brown eyes.

My adoption fees are $300. I am spayed, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm tested, and cleared for health by a great vet! If you'd like a sweet long-legged lovebug to join your family, I may be her. So send an email to info@calicanrescue.com and request a telephone interview!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
