My name is Lilian and I'm a Chocolate Point Ragdoll. I have lived with other cats, but I'd prefer not to anymore. I want to be your one and only. I like to sleep with my human, but I'm not a cuddler. I came into rescue because my owner needs to care for her elderly parents in another state. I'm healthy, I use litterbox, I'm spayed. NO DOGS - NO CATS - NO YOUNG CHILDREN. To start the adoption process please fill out the Cat Questionnaire at You can see this kitty by Appointment Only, but not until we receive the application. Thank you for thinking rescue and adoption.... and for saving a life. It will be the best gift you ever give yourself and your family.

About AJ's Best Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

AJ’s Best Friends Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit companion animal rescue organization working in the East Valley suburbs of Phoenix, AZ.

We are comprised entirely of experienced volunteers united and inspired by a common compassion for all animals. Our primary focus is on saving Persians & Himalayan cats destined to be euthanized in the area shelters or in other dangerous, life-threatening situations.

Each orphaned animal we help is provided proper veterinary attention, as required, and then is placed into one of our Foster Homes. Our Foster Home program is key to helping a homeless animal become a loving pet. Some of "our" cats need extra special care and attention to recuperate from medical, mental or physical neglect/abuse, or simply to regain their confidence and trust in people, but they all receive lots of TLC and basic family member training.

Another part of our philosophy and practice is building alliances with other cooperative rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, media, small and large caring companies, city and county agencies. By working together, we can save more lives and eliminate the unnecessary deaths of so many orphaned animals while enhancing the lives of people as well.
