NewtCP's Story...
COURTESY POST

Location: Palmyra, PA

Newt is on the lookout for a new home since her human sister developed a pet allergy. Her parents hate to see Newt go but after multiple interventions, their daughter’s allergies have not improved. Newt is 12 years old, spayed, and current on all vaccinations. She recently had a vet checkup with senior bloodwork done and everything came back healthy. Newt has a gray coat that resembles a Russian Blue with a white patch on her chest. She gets along with children and other cats. She also gets along with dogs. She’ll hiss at them but once she knows they are not a threat to her, she is very friendly with them. Newt’s feline sister, Molly, is also looking for a new home.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering Newt, please contact Brooke at 717-645-3635 or bbholland06@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NewtCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
