Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie: 4 year old coonhound/bloodhound mix Great with dogs, people, children Potty trained
Josephine's forever home must have a fenced yard and a doggie companion.
We can't say enough about Josie! She's definitely a keeper! Despite her large size, she thinks she's a lap dog and will crawl up on to you and fall asleep if given half a chance. Although not overly active, she does need to engage in play and get stimulation regularly or she gets bored and gets into mischief ... meaning she follows her hound nose and gets in the garbage or pulls food off the counters, the little stinker! But keep her invigorated with distractions and romping in the yard and she's a perfect house guest. She will then be found lounging on her favorite piece of furniture, waiting patiently for some love and affection. Josie is great with other dogs of all sizes; she prefers semi-active companions with whom she can play chase but also hang out and watch the world go by. Her bloodhound heritage is evident in her clumsy gait, her long ears and her keen nose. She does have a deep bay but doesn't howl inordinantly; she lets loose when she sees a squirrel or a rabbit but otherwise is relatively quiet. Let us know if you'd like to adopt this love bug! Her adoption fee is $150. She's spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
We require an adoption application be filled out before a meet and greet is set up. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a particular dog would be a good fit for your household. An adoption application can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org
