Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley and her siblings will be available for adoption in mid-end of May. We accept "pre-adoption" application now !!
Meet Riley!!! Riley came to the local shelter with her 4 other siblings and their mom after being surrendered by her homeless owner. Our rescue got a call from the shelter for help and immediately rescue all of them including their mom from the shelter. Her mom is a pure bred German Shepherd. We have never met their dad... but their previous owner left the information that their dad was Black Labrador. She is currently in foster care with her family. Her mom just finished nursing them. She and her siblings were born on March 1st, 2016. Currently 9 weeks old (as of 05/04/2016). Riley is very sweet and playful. She is a bit pushy and bossy (Alpha) and will do best with an owner who will teach her boundaries through training or who is very experienced with this breed. Riley is a small puppy now but already showing her strong personality, so we may not recommend for small children. All puppies are about 16-19 lbs as a 8 week old and will be a large dog when they are fully grown. They have received their 1st puppy shots and have been dewormed. They will receive their 2nd puppy shot by the adoption date. They won't be able to have their rabies shot until they are a 14 week old by law. They have NOT been spayed/neutered at this point... but will be fixed by the adoption date. They have been taught "go potty" from their foster who is a dog trainer... but they will need more house training once they are moved to their new home. If you are interested in Riley, please go to our website: www.dogzhaus.org and fill out "adoption application" online. We will contact you after we receive your application and schedule a home visit/consultant/meeting.
