Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Amos was picked up by Cherokee Animal Control wandering the streets It's a miracle he survived. Amos is emaciated and weighs approximately 6-7 pounds and should be around 12 pounds. His ribs and spine are visible.
Amos has been groomed and neutered. I am in the process of trying to get him to a healthy weight before we take him for an extensive dental cleaning and a few extractions. The vet cannot make a determination of his age because his teeth are in such bad condition but has guessed Amos to be around 6+ years old. He has an ear deformity. Either he was born with this, suffered frostbite or another dog chewed on them. There are no medical issues with his ears. In spite of having a very rough go of things, Amos is delightful and loving. He gets along beautifully with other small dogs and has no interest in chasing the barn cats. He walks well on a leash, enjoys riding shotgun in the car and likes to sleep curled up next to me in bed at night. He would love a forever home where he has a full time companion.
