Mr. Bojangles's Story...
Mr. Bojangles was found along a road in the Missouri bootheel. He’s a very friendly cat, who loves people, dogs and other cats. One of his back legs is fused at the knee due to an old injury. It doesn’t cause him any pain and it definitely doesn’t slow him down! He runs and jumps just like a “normal” kitty, although he does sometimes make a wide turn due to his leg. He is a big snuggler and loves to sit in laps and talk to his foster mom!

Mr. Bojangles is FIV+. This is only transmitted to other cats through blood transfer. Fortunately, Mr. B doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body! He is very laid back and gets along great with his other roommates! For more information on FIV, visit http://tenthlifecats.org/all-about-cats/health-and-care/fiv.

Mr. Bojangles is a very handsome and polite gentleman who is looking for that special family who will love him for who he is! Is it yours???

Approx. DOB 3/1/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Bojangles, a St. Louis Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
