Wesson's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Wesson's Story...
Pow! Pow! Wesson here just took aim and shot you full of love kisses! Are you reeling? I think I hit you smack dab in the heart! I am one cool companion: sweet, gentle, and packed with personality! I am fun and playful and will enjoy loads of adventures, but I am also very affectionate and love to cuddle. I enjoy the company of children so long as they are sturdy enough to handle 67 pounds of love, and I even like to play with cats—but I am pretty sure it’s much more fun for me than it is for them, so dog-savvy cats are a must! And let me tell ya, I am having a blast running and wrestling with other dogs—in fact, I am used to sharing my home with my big bro Smith, and I think that playing with him is my most favorite thing! Don’t worry, we’ll be a-ok with parting ways…truth is, I just love to play so any canine companion in my new home will get my tail a-waggin’. Now I’ve got you in my crosshairs....and it’s a bull’s-eye! 2 years old- 67lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wesson, a Portland St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
